29 Countries and 388 million people speak French
It is often called the Frankophone World and with this many people they certainly require a lot of teachers. I am thrilled we now have a Padagogy Wheel French Version. These French speaking people numbers are for 2015 and are taken from Wikipedia.
Jérémie and I connected some months ago and he offered to help and we were on our way. For all sorts of reasons in both France and Australia which we couldn’t control, the French Version was somewhat delayed. However the effort has been worth it and this French Version will truly help French speaking teachers around the world improve their curriculum development and teacher practice.
Working in the K-12 sector Jérémie is a “conseillers pédagogiques“. It sounds much better when he says it and what an excellent job function description. Pedagogy Counselors are called coaches in the USA. His role is to assist K12 teachers integrate technology into their teaching – a perfect fit for helping French Speaking teachers around the world to build better curriculum and teaching practice assisted by the “La roue de la Padagogy V4.1”

The Padagogy Wheel poster will be available in at least 21 languages by the end of 2016. Seven languages are already published. They are • English • Spanish • German • Norwegian • Chinese • Arabic • French. Added to this, there are five more that will be published in the next two months. They are • Catalan • Dutch • Polish.• Portuguese • Russian. A further ten languages are committed to translation during the rest of 2016.
